STUDIO POLICIES
1. TIME
Please ensure you have downloaded the MINDBODY App & have created a profile. Familiarise yourself with the difference between Classes and Appointments. Appointments include equipment (Reformer, etc) and are one on one (instructor and client) or two clients with one instructor. Classes do not include equipment & are in a group setting.
1.a Please arrive at least 5 minutes prior to the start of your class/appointment.
1.b Classes are 45 minutes & Appointments are 55 minutes long, unless specifically arranged by your instructor.
2. COMFORT AND HOUSE-KEEPING
2.a Pilates is a “hands on” approach. If this is uncomfortable for you in any way, please inform your instructor.
2.b Please wear: comfortable workout attire, clean non-slip socks. Pilates socks are available in the studio to purchase.
2.c Please remove your shoes before entering the studio.
2.d Please bring a clean long towel your own water.
(should you not bring a clean long towel you will be required to clean the equipment after your appointment/class)
2.e Mobile conversations are not allowed in the studio. Please “silence” your phone. Your courtesy & co-operation will be
appreciated.
2.f TashB Pilates is a host studio for the Body Arts and Science International (BASI) Teacher Training Course. Please be advised that on occasion students will be in our studio to observe instructors, if you feel uncomfortable with this please let us know – thank you!
3. BILLING AND BOOKING
3.a Payment for classes/appointments must be made in advance.
3.b We currently utilise an App called MINDBODY for billing & scheduling purposes. The App can be downloaded from your Apple App Store or Google Playstore on your mobile device. To register: Click on “New to our site?” / Enter your First Name and last name / Click “next” / your name should appear and you can click on “this is me!” / verify account / enter your email address / create Login / enter you email / create your own password (must be 8 characters long and contain at least 1 number).
3.c The MindBody procedure is as follows:
3.c.1 Your instructor will allocate a package of either 5 or 10 mat Classes/Private/Semi-Private Appointments, or a drop-in appointment/class, depending on what you decide on going forward.
3.c.2 Each package expires after 6 months, so you will have ample time to use up your Appointments/Classes, this also gives you grace if you are away or ill.
3.c.3 You will book your appointments and/or classes on the MINDBODY App going forward, this secures your appointment time, desired instructor and/or your space in a class.
3.c.4 You will be notified via an auto email, when you have 1 Appointment/Class left.
3.c.5 Please make sure you cancel your Appointment/Class on the MINDBODY App 24 hours beforehand, in order to avoid being charged for the appointment.
4. CANCELLATIONS
4.a CANCELLATIONS MUST BE MADE ON MINDBODY 24 HOURS BEFORE THE START OF YOUR APPOINTMENT. Your advance payment for the duly cancelled class will be credited to your account. In the event that your cancellation happens with less than 24 hours’ notice please inform your instructor as well by sending a text of your cancellation. Late cancellations will be charged.
4.b TashB Pilates prides itself on the fact that our classes are small in size. This allows us to be able to work with
everybody at some point during a class. However, as capacity is limited, be courteous to others that may be on a waiting list
should you wish to cancel your reservation.
(Please make use of your instructor’s cell number on MINDBODY should you need to late cancel.)
4.c Payment can be made via (1) Electronic Transfer (2) Zapper
5. NOTICE PERIOD:
Should you decide that your time with the studio has come to an end, please note that any unused sessions on your account must be used up before you leave, the studio has a “no refunds” policy. Unused credit/sessions will be forfeited.

7. DISPUTE RESOLUTION
7.1. Any dispute between the Parties arising out of this Agreement or its legality or its enforceability or the interpretation thereof, that cannot be resolved within 5 (five) calendar days (Monday to Sunday), shall be referred to the ADR ACCESS platform (“Platform”) for arbitration, by either of the Parties, by way of electronic notice to the other Party via the mobile number/s and/or email address/es provided in this Agreement.
7.2. The Accelerated Rules for Commercial Arbitrations as set out on the Platform shall be applied. This clause is a separate, divisible agreement from the rest of this Agreement and shall remain in effect, even if the Agreement or part thereof, is terminated, nullified, cancelled or found to be invalid, for any whatsoever reason or cause.
